The effectiveness of the Jigsaw style in achieving third-grade students in the Kurdish Language and Literature department in a Syntax subject.

The aim of the research is to identify the effectiveness of the Jigsaw style in achieving third-grade students in the Kurdish Language and Literature department in a Syntax subject. The researcher adopted the experimental design of equal groups with a post-test. The research community included third grade students / Department of Kurdish Language and Literature / College of Basic Education - Akre at the University of Duhok for the academic year (2023-2024), amounting to (82) male and female students, divided into two groups (a) and (b) randomly. Where the (42) students of the experimental group (A) were studied according to the Jigsaw style, and the students of the control group (B), the number of (40) students, were studied according to the usual method used.
The researcher prepared an achievement test that included (30) items and extracted its psychometric characteristics. And after the completion of the experiment, which lasted a full semester, the researcher applied the tool, extracted the data, and conducted the statistical treatment using the (t.test) with it. The results showed that the Jigsaw Style had a significant impact on the achievement among the students of the experimental group, compared to their peers in the control group.
