The Raparin Journal of Humanities (RJH) is committed to ensuring that all research involving human participants or animals is conducted according to the highest ethical standards. Researchers are expected to respect the rights, dignity, and welfare of all participants and to minimize risks associated with the research. Therefore, authors and researchers are supposed to strictly abide by the following points;
- Research involving human participants or animals must follow the highest ethical standards.
- Human participants must give informed consent, and their privacy, confidentiality, and voluntary participation must be respected.
- Research involving humans must comply with applicable laws, institutional regulations, and international ethical guidelines.
- Animal research must follow accepted standards for humane treatment, minimizing pain, distress, and suffering.
- The use of animals must be scientifically justified and approved by the relevant institutional ethics committee.
- All manuscripts reporting research with humans or animals must include a statement confirming that the study was conducted according to ethical standards and approved by the appropriate review board.
- Adhering to these ethical principles protects participants and animals, ensures research integrity, and maintains public trust in scholarly work.
- Researchers must avoid conflicts of interest and disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence the study or its outcomes.
- Studies must be designed to produce meaningful results while minimizing unnecessary risk, burden, or harm to participants and animals.
- Researchers are responsible for ensuring transparency and honesty in data collection, analysis, and reporting, avoiding fabrication, falsification, or selective reporting.
