Plagiarism Policy
Plagiarism Policy
The Raparin Journal of Humanities (RJH) upholds a strict policy against all forms of plagiarism to ensure the integrity and originality of published research.
All submitted manuscripts are rigorously checked for similarity using trusted plagiarism detection software and compared against a wide database of online sources, academic publications, and previous works. The maximum overall similarity allowed is 20%, with no more than 5% similarity from any single source or per article used in the manuscript. We as the Raparin Journal of Humanities define the act of plagiarism as the use of another person’s words, ideas, data, or figures without proper citation or acknowledgment. It also covers self-plagiarism, where an author reuses substantial portions of their own previously published work without proper reference. In addition, if plagiarism is detected before publication, the submission will be rejected. If discovered after publication, the article may be retracted, and the author’s institution may be informed. Therefore, authors are fully responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts are original, properly cited, and free of any form of plagiarism. RJH is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and research ethics.
