الملخص

This article deals with the problem of studying descriptive constructions and metaphorical orders used by the famous Polish-English sociologist Zygmunt Bauman to determine the actual order of social reality. The process of transformation of the aggregate metaphors "liquid", "fluidity", "melting" into metaphors of social research and theorizing is consistently considered. The article draws attention to the descriptive potential of aggregate metaphors when changing their status in the disciplinary field of social research.
