Abstract

Due to contemporary accumulation of environmental issues for many natural and humanitarian motives, this has led countries around the world and international organizations to take action to prevent the further improvement of this issue, restricting excesses and determining solutions. In this context، the United Nations has evolved an intensive program for our present day century, agenda 21, in which sustainable development is the principle basis for achieving the goals، which includes 17 standard goals, at the same time as identifying methods to achieve those goals. For this purpose، tourism in well-known and ecotourism specially plays a role within the achievement of those goals, much like many different economic, social and environmental sectors that we have proven on this study. As a result, we have got come to the conclusion that environmental tourism has a strong and direct relationship with more than 9 targets of the overall goals of Sustainable development, and that this process requires the overall cooperation of stakeholders and is not carried out by one aspect alone and does not reach the goal.
